Mill & Marsh Meadows
Henley’s Mill & Marsh Meadows are the formal and informal parks adjacent to the river upstream of Henley Bridge. It holds the prestigious Green Flag Award which recognises the best green spaces in the country, both spaces offer areas to relax alongside the river.
Mill Meadows has a café, summertime tourist information centre where deck chairs can be hired, putting green, children’s playground and recently refurbished public toilets. In the summer there are regular weekend concerts on the Bandstand while Marsh Meadows boasts new BBQ sites.
Limited car parking is available at Mill Meadows, the Station car park is a 2 minute walk.
Scheduled Public Cruises
Hobbs of Henley and Salters Steamers both run scheduled trips down the Regatta course and around Temple Island from their respective bases in Station Road and Mill Meadows throughout the summer months.
Cruising with Accommodation
A number of canal boats and barges offer on-board accommodation while cruising the upper Thames on short breaks or holidays, while self-hire cruisers are available a short distance from Henley. Hobbs of Henley has two luxury Linssen cruisers for weekly or weekend hire which sleep 6.
